Who are we?
ChezANIA: Alex & Nicole Crawford, a French speaking English family who have lived all year round at Les Limornières since September 2006 with our two children Isabella & Amélie now 15 and 13 years old - the girls have both attended the local village school in le Grand Pressigny and Isabella now a weekly boarder at Lycée in Loches.
Why choose here?
We thoroughly enjoy maintaining Les Limornières, its collection of 19th century stone former farm buildings and gardens.
We believe that by being flexible and tailoring our services to suit your needs we provide a great environment for your holiday to happen with ease. We look forward to welcoming you to les Limornières very soon.
Why choose the Southern Loire?
Come to stay at Les Limornières and enjoy the beautiful unspoilt Loire Valley countryside, the gentle climate with generally blue sky, sunshiny days, historic towns & villages, the lifestyle and all the delicious food & wine that this lovely region has on offer all around.
What do we do most of the time...?
We live year round at Les Limornières and divide our time between maintaining & developing ChezANIA Jardinage, our local property maintenance & garden landscaping business with running the holiday cottages.
We enjoy growing perennial plants suited to the local growing conditions in our nursery beds, the plants attract a breathtaking range of butterflies and other beneficial insects in the summer months as well as a fantastic riot of colour for most of the year.
Our interests lie in all of the above..but we particularly enjoy living in the Loire Valley countryside & exploring all it offers. Long summers walking & cycling in in the peaceful surrounding lanes, woods & villages. Canoeing, fishing & swimming in local lakes & rivers. Eating outdoors in hidden courtyards & on pavements at local bistros, BBQs with friends at les Limornieres & picnics in beautiful countryside spots.
During the short cold winters, we enjoy the occasional chilly session of winter river fishing, cycling & wandering the woods & lanes, and of course sampling the local produce at farmers markets, bistro's and restaurants at every possible opportunity! Updated Feb 2017
